Okay so I don’t get out much…and we don’t go to the movies very often BUT both the hubby and I are excited for the upcoming release of Deadpool.

“Deadpool is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is intended to be the eighth installment in the X-Men film series. The film is directed by Tim Miller, with a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, and Leslie Uggams. The film follows Wade Wilson who, after being subjected to an experiment that leaves him with new abilities, hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.”

At first I thought, ‘oh right here we go another superhero movie’ but after watching the trailer I realize it might not be quite like some of the others.

Violence – yep, bad language – yep, but there is a quirky sense of humour that grabbed me that Ryan Reynolds seems to do so well.

It is being released in theatres on Friday Feb 12th but I’m probably not going to be able to watch it until the end of the month.

So you HAVE to go see it and let me know if it is as good as I think it will be
