The Revenant

Run, don’t walk to go see the latest Leonardo DiCaprio flick.  He has graduated from man-boy roles to full fledged, responsible adult roles.  Filmed in sub-zero climes in Alberta… there is very little dialogue in this Based-on-Reality tale of survival and revenge, of Hugh Glass… a frontiersman left for dead.  This must be seen on the big screen… images from this movie still horrify and mortify me.  Leo said during filming, he realized an appreciation for the struggle of the aboriginal people and the sheer lawlessness of the day.  And was afraid he would freeze to death during filming….Every man for himself, it was… Oscar buzz for Leo?  You tell me….

He did NAIL the Golden Globe….
