Oct 1, 2015 – M & C Update
- Ambassador Program: The CSMLS Ambassador Program is being launched and announced in the Oct 8th issue of the eNews. We are recruiting volunteers to deliver presentations about the medical laboratory professional.
- Website Redesign: Continuing to work with departments toward final approval of their menu structure and content.
- Ontario Roadshow: Dates have been booked for a CSMLS Roadshow at 4 Ontario hospitals. MLTs and MLAs invited to learn about the changes and trends facing the profession, including regulation, technology and the impacts of this on duties and scopes of practice.
- Provincial Meetings: Three provincial meetings have successfully concluded (ON, SK, BC) and there are three more on the horizon in the month of October (NB, NL and MA).
- Journal: Fall 2015 CJMLS has been sent to print and will be arriving in mailboxes the first week of October.
